Moncton Fire Department along with about 6 Codiac Regional RCMP vehicles responded to Tim Horton's @ 10 Plaza Blvd for what was suppose to be a gas line on fire in behind the business. RCMP were blocking off all the intersections leading into the area at Mapleton and Plaza and the east bound lane of Wheeler Blvd and in front of Tim's in the very busy uptown shopping district. Firefighters found the problem right away , it was just a cigarette that got thrown into the peat moss, one of the fireman told one of the Tim's employees that had evacuated the building. 10 minutes later the scene was cleared . Right around the same time this alarm came in , Moncton fire dept responded to a home on Snow Ave . for a fire alarm and it ended up being burnt food.
