727 Cargo Plane skidded off Runway Moncton Internation Airport

Some tense moments for the crew of this 727 Cargo Plane this morning just before 3:30AM at the Moncton International Airport in Dieppe NB. The Plane skidded off the end of the runway, Dieppe Fire Department was first on the scene and by that time the crew was already out of the plane. Moncton Fire Department was also responding to the accident but was turned back once Dieppe Fire arrived and found out there were no injuries . Codiac Regional RCMP were on scene also. Heavy rains and wind early this morning. Firefighter said to stay away from the wheels as they were very hot. The plane is still sitting at the end of the runway. Operations at the airport are going as planned. Transportation Safety Board is Investigating the accident.
