Man in 80's fell asleep while driving-Accident

A male in his 80's was transported to hospital due to this single vehicle accident on the Shediac Road this afternoon just before 2 P.M. Moncton Fire and Codiac R.C.M.P. also responded to the accident. Witnesses said the car was seen driving off the road and he didn't appear to hit the brakes because he had fallen asleep. Roads were time of the crash and 1 tow truck was needed. Police had 1 lane blocked on the Shediac Road .
