Van hit deer near Magnetic Hill on Trans Canada Highway

A deer ran out in front of this van at mile marker 449 in the East Bound lane of the Trans Canada Highway , between Berrys Mills and Magnetic Hill Exit just before 9 A.M. this morning. Moncton Fire responded for fluids leaking from the van. The deer after being struck by the van got up and ran into the woods, once Firefighters arrived on scene they found the deer 100 feet off the road and it was dead. District 11 R.C.M.P. and D.N.R. were also responding to the call.
