Companies rush to apply for new web domains

There has been a rush to apply for new internet address endings in a plan to liberalise domain names.
The familiar .com, .org, and .net, will now be joined by the likes of .app, .blog, and even .ninja.
The full list of submissions has been published by the company organising the expansion.
