British Prime Minister David Cameron left his eight-year-old daughter Nancy at this pub on Sunday following a mix-up with his wife.
The Camerons met friends at the country pub for a drink and left in separate cars --- each assuming the other had their daughter. It wasn't until the couple arrived home that they realized they'd left their daughter behind.
Samantha Cameron rushed back to The Plough where she found Nancy waiting with staff members.
The story is now making headlines worldwide and is a hot topic on parenting blogs. Katie O'Donovan is with Mumsnet.
SOUNDBITE: Katie O'Donovan of Mumsnet saying:
"Parents are busy people, often sleep deprived. Particularly when your children outnumber the number of parents that are out and about, it can happen to the best of us. So I think there is some sympathy out there for Cameron today."
Eric Pickles, Secretary of State for Communities says it was a mistake that anybody could make.
For some however, the incident will likely add fuel to criticisms the UK leader is overly fond of relaxing and hasn't been attentive enough to affairs of state.
