Om Puri recently recorded a song for his upcoming movie 'Rambhajan Zindabad', a political satire that will go on the floors in August. The song is titled 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. About his singing abilities he says, "I am not a good singer and I am not a trained singer. I can hum a few lines and that is what I have done here." Om Puri claims he hasn't heard the song of the same name that got the movie 'Shanghai' in trouble, but is glad that filmmakers are attempting to bring about change in society. A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court asking for a stay on 'Shanghai' because of the controversial lyrics of the song.
