Military aircraft targeted three weapons manufacturing facilities and two smuggling tunnels, according to officials in Israel.
Palestinian sources in Gaza reported that seven people were wounded in the attacks - among them, two children.
Israel's military said the attacks were a response to the killing of an Israeli officer several days ago.
On June 1, a Palestinian gunman broke into Israel and killed a soldier before being shot dead.
Israel said the infiltrator had intended to kill civilians but instead attacked soldiers sent to intercept him, and blames Hamas for the rare cross-border attack.
Hamas, which governs Gaza, had no immediate comment.
