A Miami police officer shot and killed a naked man, who was attacking another naked man along a major highway.

Witnesses described seeing the attacker chewing at the face and neck of his victim.

The police officer shot and killed the attacker after he failed to respond to repeated orders to stop and back away.

Surveillance camera posted on The Miami Herald's building caught the scene.

Police have said the attacker may have been in some sort of a drug-induced craze.

The victim of the attack is in critical condition at a Miami hospital.
