Iran rejects deadlines on nuclear issue - 13 Oct 09

Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, has said the world will "not wait indefinitely" for proof that Iran is not making nuclear weapons.

But Iran has dismissed those comments, saying threats and deadlines will have no effect on Tehran.

A foreign ministry spokesperson says Iran is committed to following international law, but that uranium enrichment remains a "non-negotiable" right.
