Slow in S Africa economy upsets small business

South Africa is an emerging economy that has thus far managed to weather the financial crisis gripping most of the developed world.

The International Monetary Fund also recently predicted just 2.7 per cent growth in South Africa's economy this year, while three ratings agencies downgraded its economic outlook from stable to negative.
