ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: After 10 years, the 'men in black' are back to save the world. This time the duo of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are joined by actor Josh Brolin, who plays the younger version of Jones' character Agent K.

The stars for the film suited up for the New York City premiere, in the middle of a media blitz on which includes eight cities on three continents in 12 days.

On the red carpet Brolin explained why the cast is still getting along after the dramatic schedule.

"Everybody does like each other. And we just went through a world tour. If there's any reason not to like each other, would be now. That would be the result of it.

As the stars hit the red carpet it was evident they had all formed a true bond while filming the movie.

In the film, Agent J, played by Smith, travels back in time to the 1960's in order to stop an alien from assassinating his partner Agent K and changing history.

On the red carpet Jones could be seen asking Smith about the controversial incident he had a few days ago with an Ukrainian reporter in Moscow - a male reporter attempted to kiss him on the lips. Smith laughed off the questioning as Jones playfully slapped him.

Smith made the red carpet event a family affair, bringing his wife, Jada, and his children Willow and Jaden.

Other attendees who were present to support the film included British sensation "One Direction," and rapper Pitbull who performs the lead song on the film's soundtrack.

"Men In Black 3" opens in the U.S. on Friday, May 25.
