GM crisis threatens European operations - 01 June 09

GM's European brands Opel and Vauxhall are likely to be saved from bankruptcy, thanks to a rescue deal with a Canadian car parts company and a Russian savings bank.

But the deal does not guarantee any production parts outside Germany or safeguard any of GM Europe's 54,000 jobs.
