Magnificent traditional Galician songs are undergoing a revival in Belgium thanks to Néboa. The tradition in Galicia (Nord-West Spain) is that women sing at every occasion: whilst working in the fields, cooking, partying, on sad occasions,...An amazing diversity of songs therefore exist, which are still relevant today. Annabel Araico Cao, Herminda Richer Lopez, Karen Maria De Pooter and Raphaël De Cock are reviving this tradition by adding in their own musical arrangements. They accompany themselves on various instruments, such as the pandereta (Galician tambourine), the pandeiro (square percussion), the conchas (scallop shells), the gaita (Galician bagpipes), the accordion and sometimes even a few dances steps.

The "jota" that Néboa sings originates from San Isidro de Montes, a town in the province of Pontevedra, and is traditionally accompanied on the pandeiro; howver, Néboa here adds the lata (metal can for olive oil), the bombo (big drum) and conchas.
