Al Jazeera's Mohamed Vall talks to the UN under-secretary general for humanitarian affairs in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. Holmes is the most senior UN official to visit Sudan this year and he tells Al Jazeera that the security situation in Darfur has deteriorated since his last visit. He also talks about the crises in Sri Lanka, DR Congo and Pakistan.
