Yemen crackdown leaves 26 dead

An eruption of deadly violence has broken out in Yemen.

Witnesses report that security forces opened fire on an anti-government rally in the capital Sanaa.

At least 26 people have been killed, and many other protesters badly injured and at least one of the dead was hit by a rocket propelled grenade.
