No survivors found after plane crashes in Indonesia

Rescue workers in helicopters spotted the wreckage from a Russian plane on the side of a dormant volcano roughly 40 miles from Jakarta.

Reaching the site would be another matter.

Authorities believe the plane hit the top of this nearly vertical rock wall and its debris was strewn across a cliff. After three attempts to reach the densely covered area by air, authorities dispatched teams on foot.

Rescue workers say there were no survivors. The 45 people on board the test flight included Russians embassy workers, Indonesian businessmen and journalists.
