Jazz-Sinfonie Billy Bartholomew - Huggable Kissable You

Although I already posted this song before by Ted Wallace's band, I wanted to share this exquisite European version. Billy Bartholomew (1901-1972 in London), not to be mistaken for German bandleader Billy Barton, was a a saxophonist who had played widely in Britain before going to Germany in 1924. He first joined the Eric Borchard band. In 1925, he played in the Julian Fuhs Orchestra. In October 1927, he created his first band (the " Eden Five "). In 1928, "Billy Bartholomew and his Delphians " played at the opening of the Delphi Palast. He also played at such restaurants as Moka Efti, and the Atlantis besides also recording. This superb record was made in 1929, with an uncredited vocal.
