(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Families mourned their dead on Saturday (May 5) after a fire at a drug rehab centre killed 14 people in the second such incident this year.
The blaze, which occurred at the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus facility on the outskirts of Lima, began at 3:30am local (0730gmt). Police said that almost all the dead had been locked in their rooms and could not escape, similar to the January fire at a different rehab centre that killed 27.
Families gathered at the gates of the facility, alternating between anxiety and anger as they demanded answers.
At least four survivors were seen being escorted out of the facility and into waiting vehicles, but it was not clear how many people had survived the tragedy.
The incident remains under investigation.
