The last medical facility in Sri Lanka's war zone, where the government is fighting the Tamil fighters, has been shelled.
Patients who had come to the hospital with injuries got more injured as the roof fell in.
Red Cross medics decided to flee with 300 patients to a coastal area deeper inside the war zone.
