Pakistan raids turns focus on women's rights - 1 July 2008

For a fourth day running, Pakistani troops have attacked tribal villages near the border with Afghanistan.

The attack came in an area controlled by a local leader who cracks down on mobile phone ring tones and will not let women go shopping on his own.

Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from the Khyber region where the ongoing operation helping to draw attention to the plight of women.
