Syria ceasefire fails to end violence

A funeral is held in Meshmeshan, near the Syrian city of Idlib, for victims of an army mortar attack.
The death toll continues to rise in the country despite a shaky U.N. backed ceasefire agreement.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that all nine victims were members of the same family.
This video, which cannot be independently verified, shows people attending the funeral chanting for revenge against President Bashar al-Assad.
The ceasefire came into force on April 12, and 31 U.N. monitors are now in Syria.
But despite their presence in some of the most unstable areas such as Idlib, the violence continues.
The activist filming them here criticises the monitors for refusing to tour the town to see the extent of the destruction.
The United Nations has accused both sides of breaching the truce and said it had credible reports that at least 34 children have been killed since the ceasefire took effect.
