At least 15 people are dead after gunmen threw explosives into the room before gunning down fleeing worshippers here in Kano, northern Nigeria.
A hospital source reported seeing 10-15 dead bodies with gunshot wounds and said dozens were being treated for injuries.
Security is tight around the St. Stephen Catholic Chaplaincy where the attack occurred Sunday.
Police suspect radical Islamist sect Boko Haram, which also killed four people in another attack on a church service the same day and carried out twin suicide bombings on newspaper offices on Friday.
