Libya has been accused of paying doctors to provide a prognosis that would secure the release of Abdelbasset Al-Megrahi, convicted over the Lockerbie bombing,.

Al-Megrahi was freed from a Scottish jail last month, after being told he had just three months to live.

Scotland has denied its decision was based on evidence from doctors who had been paid by Libya.
