As Egypt looks to intensify its mediation efforts between Hamas and Fatah, the Hamas leadership heads to Cairo. But tension in between the two factions is only increasing, raising the issue of the Palestinians wasting the opportunity of a favourable US position. Why can the Palestinians not find peace and stop fighting amongst themselves? And what is the chance for reconciliation?
