In 2010, Emil Inauen has won La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc , the toughest sleddogs stage race in the world. In 2012, he ran the Femundlopet 600, one of Europe toughest Long-Distance sleddogs race.
He ended-up on 4th place, grabbing the Rookie of the Year award.
