Easter washing of feet emulates humility

In a traditional Maundy Thursday ceremony that takes place as part of Easter Holy Week celebrations by those of the Christian faith, Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theophilus III washed the feet of 12 priests in the courtyard of the Holy Sepulchre Church in the Old City of Jerusalem. Traditional belief holds that Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at their Last Supper.
