The Muslim Brotherhood's Khairat al-Shater has has shaken up the presidential election map in Egypt. He has decided to campaign for office despite his party originally saying it would not put forward a candidate.

The 61-year-old millionaire has slammed the bid for power by Egypt's former intelligence chief, Omar Suleiman.
