$640 million up for grabs in U.S. lottery

And so began the drawing for the largest jackpot in history.

This is the Mega Millions lottery, and up for grabs is a grand prize of $640 million dollars.

When the balls stopped spinning these were the winning numbers: 46, 23, 38, 4, 2 and 23.

If no one has a lucky ticket, the jackpot will climb to $975 million.
