Presented by Caitlin www.kayla-patrick.com Kayla Patrick is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Edmonton Alberta who has been singing since the age of three. She has been entertaining crowds throughout Alberta since the age of eight. Kayla found her love for country music after competing in a local Country Vocal Spotlight show in 2002 and hasn't looked back since. Kayla has many awards to her credit which include 1st place gold medal winner at the City Wide Talent show two years in a row. 1st place winner in the 2006 Junior Division Country Vocal Spotlight Talent Show, Female entertainer of the year, Female vocalist of the year and Co-writer of the year for a song she wrote and performed at the North American Country Music Associations Competitions in Pigeon Forge Tennessee USA in 2007. Kayla sings a variety of Classic Country and original songs. Kayla released her first CD, "My Heart's Beating Country" in 2007. She recently released her second CD titled "I'm Your Biggest Fan" which is comprised of 7 originals that she wrote and 5 of her favourite Classic Country covers.
