THE CARLS
The Carls are a five-piece indie/alternative rock band from Traun, Austria. Started in early 2008 learning their instruments and finding the ideal members for realising their common music ideas, they recorded their first Ep "You Are Not Amazing At All" in winter 2009/10 and in October 2011 they released two new songs as a double A-Single under the name "New Cities".
Next to being a traditional two-guitars-bass-drums-vocals indierock band, they experimented with some little electronic influences even to extend their wide musical spectrum from dark, rhythmic post-punk sounds over indiepop to rough and raw garage-rock. All in all it's hard to categorize them exactly, so it is the best idea to check them out.
