Grinde created this 1935 short in response to his film 'How to Stay Awake' (during which his audience, predictably, fell asleep). Here, he explores the mystery of sleep disorders, and various remedies for them, including counting sheep and the frequent changing of sleeping positions. ("It makes one wonder what the idea is getting into bed at all. It would be less exertion to play a game of handball.") Hilariously understated, this is essential viewing for insomniacs. :)
