Who are the Blistering Speeds?
They are three guys who turned up Fugazi tapes way too loud in their walkmans. They are the folks whom think the Electro Harmonix Big Muff should be a form of currency, and judge musicians that haven't owned at least three in their lifetimes.
Why are the Blistering Speeds?
The Speeds have fond memories of all those great loud grunge and punk bands from the 90s. The kind that had good natured mosh pits and long-hairs from Seattle climbing the rafters.
They think that modern psuedo-genres like dance pop, and bedroom mixtape bands have their place, but miss the days when a cord and a lock and a pedal was all you needed to create an epic show. The Speeds hope to carve out a little fuzzed-out, post-psychedelic niche in Texas.
