ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: On the heels of the hit movie "Bridesmaids" some of that film's cast members are joining forces again to see if they will have the same success with a new romantic comedy, "Friends With Kids."

Almost the entire cast from the film, with the exception of Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig, hit the red carpet to promote the movie.

Jon Hamm, who worked with Kristen Wiig on "Bridesmaids", said their chemistry is what helps them create movie magic.

The ensemble comedy is about a close group of friends who start to realize the negative effect having children has on their romantic relationships. The last two single people in their crew decide to have a baby without strings attached in order to avoid the pitfalls of being married with children.

Edward Burns hit the red carpet with his wife Christy Turlington. The couple said the evening was a mix of work and play. In the movie, Burns' character is considered the rational adult of the film, which Turlington says isn't a stretch for her husband of almost ten years.

Actress Megan Fox, who makes one of her first appearances in a romantic comedy, said the uniqueness of the script is what attracted her to the role.

"I never had considered doing a romantic comedy before, but I think it's so original and different and so honest, it's not cliché in the way a lot of romantic comedies usually are. So I'm really proud of it, I am happy about it," Fox said.

"Friends With Kids" will hit U.S. theaters on March 9.
