Viktor Rolf slows down the pace of fashion week

Fashion goes out of this world.

Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf unveiled a soft and mysterious fashion show set on the moon.

Moonlight was the back drop as models posed on a conveyer belt in the dark, with the audience seeing only the exaggerated outline of the clothes.

Once revealed, models walked slowly down a winding catwalk to slow and gentle music, the exact opposite of the typical hectic pace of most shows.

The collection began with fluid fabrics turned into easily-wearable jumpsuits.

White, cream and brown silk brought a gentle ease to the clothes, allowing the wearer to look fashionable while being comfortable.

Structure began to take shape with models dressed in jackets and shorts.

Then furs warmed things up with models in oversized coats with geometric cutouts.

Paris Fashion Week will end on March 7.
