Sheridan takes stand against "Housewives" creator

STORY: Nicollette Sheridan insisted under cross-examination on Friday (March 02) that she was hit, not slapped, by "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry on the set of the TV series more than three years ago.
The actress was in her second day of testimony in the trial of the Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit she filed in April 2010, alleging battery and wrongful termination against Cherry and Touchstone Television Productions. She claims she was fired during the hit show's fifth season for complaining about Cherry's alleged head smack.
