In 2010, Smile Smile's Ryan Hamilton and Bowling For Soup's Jaret Riddick merged their musical superpowers to create the oft-buzzed-about band People on Vacation. Combining their distinct musical styles of emo/punk-pop and folk/indie was a leap but the band is eager to see what is in store for their burgeoning side project -- as Hamilton can attest: "It was just this fluke, weird really nice surprise. He and I are both so excited about it. Who knows what will happen? I don't know, he doesn't know, but we are both really excited. The curiosity has been really overwhelming so far because people are like, "What? How does that work?"
