Shubh Vivah is a new Indian tv show to be telecast on Sony tv India. It is scheduled to broadcast by 27 February 2012 at 7:30pm. Shubh Vivah on Sony Tv is another remake of South and the pioneer in this group was Maayke Se Bandhi Dor that aired on Star Plus(remake of Kolangal) a Tamil show that aired on Sun TV; the second one is Dil Se Di Dua...Saubhagyvati Bhava (remake of a Telugu serial Shravanthi). Shubh Vivah will also have the Eijaz Khan, who was last seen in Bhaskar Bharti. The serial will show Rakesh Bedi as father to five daughters, played by Neha Narang, Shafaq Naaz, Vinny Arora, Krutika Gaikwad and Neha Janpandit.
Shubh Vivaah represents the story of a father and his five daughters. The love they share, the bonds they cement, the faith they place on each other and the dedication with which they try to change the harsh realities of their lives. The story initiates with the wedding of the second daughter (played by newcomer Neha Janpandit). Who doesn't get the best husband as compared to her sisters because every normal girl in India, has a picture of an ideal dream husband in terms of looks, nature and outlook towards life. The expectations from the husband are fairly simple � need to provide security, tender moments of love which may or may not be met. The show is set in UP and is targeted at small-town viewers. "The set-up of the show is very interesting and the story is quite dramatic as each sister has her own struggle,"says an informed source.
