Hot off the release of their first album "The Neon Groove" in February 2010, LT FUNK is starting to make waves. With the smooth tone of Heydon Hohaia and the punch of Caleb Strickland at the helm, Neon Groove is a fusion of funk, dub, disco and pop. The album is currently selling well on iTunes and amazon.com.
With an undeniable passion for groove and a willingness to explore, LT FUNK's ability to cover all bases in legendary. Not afraid to mix styles, or indulge in the unexpected, the bands unique sound is winning over fans nationwide.
Hailing from the streets of south Auckland, LT FUNK's ability to connect with their audience onstage is quickly gaining them a reputation. A high-energy sound mixed with compelling stage presence and you've got yourself a FUNK show like no other.
The band developed out of a school music class, with a few 'ring ins' and has been playing both original and cover gigs professionally since 2005. Over the years they have won various competitions, gigged all over New Zealand and toured to Perth. In the near future they're looking forward to dropping some more tunes to radio and recording a music video.
