Reese Witherspoon shines in South Korea

STORY: Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon and director McG held a news conference and met fans in Seoul on Thursday (February 23) to promote their movie, "This Means War."

In the movie, Witherspoon plays the object of two men's affections. After two CIA oerpatives discover they are both dating the same woman, the lines are drawn and an all out war ensues in a clash of wit, wills, and charms.

"I thought it was a great opportunity to reach out to wider audience, because it's so great for men and women but it's also great for international audiences to see a film that combines a sense of humor with a great amount of action and it was fun, we were very running around athletic and having a good time," said Witherspoon at the news conference.

The power struggle between two rising stars Chris Pine of "Star Trek" and Tom Hardy of "Inception" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" comes to a head when they fight it out for the love of Witherspoon in the action romantic comedy.

This is the actress' first visit to Seoul and she expressed her gratitude to her fans all over the world.

After the news conference, Witherspoon walked down the red carpet with hundreds of fans gathered to see her.

"This Means War" will be released in South Korea on February 29.
