The Common Tongues are a Brighton based 5 piece that combine sounds of the deep South with British Folk Revival to compelling stories of their lives and loves. They can be seen footstomping around Brighton's open mikes stripped down to 2 guitars, a violin and beautiful 3 way harmonies, or for bigger shows with bass and drums. 2010 has already seen the Common Tongues record a new demo and play bigger shows, Communion and Club NME nights, and its set to only get better.
