Born in West-Side Manhattan and bred in London, Celeste Oram has been proud to hail from East-Side Auckland for the past twelve years. With a lifetime of music and many years of songwriting already in the bank, most recently she has been gallivanting around Auckland with post-folk duo Claire & Celeste. Characterised by thoughtful musicianship and utter authenticity, her inimitable songs are imbued with a dangerous sincerity that betrays her nineteen years.
Reluctantly accepting that burdensome title of being classically trained, by day Celeste is an aspiring composer and has a fifth limb in the form of her flute.
