In Ben's own words...
I have been in the band The 66 Kicks for around 10 years, played some awesome venue's on the london scene, had regular sets at the 100 club,The Dublin Castle, played The Sound Republic, Festivals to a few thousand people, Been signed to a management company, Had record company interest, released a song in america, Had an EP played on Channel 4, Made a Few music vids and had a great local reputation. I left the band late last year to concentrate on solo music as the band were pulling in different directions, but we still remain friends. I am currently putting the finishing touches to my first solo album Titled 'Look At What The Worlds Become' and hoping to have it finished by the summer '09 with live gigs to follow.
I have 2 myspace sites, The main one being www.myspace.com/bennyboydrake , the other site, used for demo's and acoustic tracks, and for music vids i have appeared in for other bands, is www.myspace.com/bsidesanddemos .
