Clara Monahan is a versatile and talented Irish musician. She has written and performed her own music from an early age and is at present in the process of recording her first solo EP. Clara is also in two other bands; The Gospel Project - a vocal harmony group who gig regularly in the Dublin area and in a number of theatres around the country and Jungle Train - Clara is one of the founding members of this blues/soul five piece outfit. As well as being an excellent vocalist, Clara is also an experienced acoustic guitar player. She specialises in blues, country and roots music. Clara is also a classically trained singer and has a Bachelor of Music from N.U.I Maynooth. Irish traditional music has also been a feature of Clara's work and she is an All Ireland Fleadh Ceoil winner and plays the tinwhistle and bodhran. With all these styles combined Clara Monahan is a first rate performer and musician with an aptitude for versatility and enjoyment in her music.
