All three members of The Pulpit were born between the years 1989 and 1990. However, it took an astonishing seventeen years for them to eventually come together and form a musical partnership. It was the wretched summer of 2007 which witnesed their formation. Since that time, The Pulpit have continued to compose and perform songs with varying degrees of visibility and violence. It was the departure from Second Level Irish schooling in 2008, which led to the development of a stronger and more profound Pulpit.
Of course things change over time, and The Pulpit is aware of this fact. Their mode of operating has been slightly altered of late due to the interference of modern life but their commitment, desire and creativity has never deserted. 2009 will hopefully see the recording of some tunes and a plethora of live perfomances. The Pulpit's true ambition may also become a reality. They may finally feature on TV3 News at 5.30 offering their views on the present economic gloom. Let's just wait and pray.
