Live from BalconyTV Copenhagen, at SPOT! festival 2011.
Emma Acs is a very young but super ambitious 19-year-old girl from Copenhagen, who plays pop music with solid roots in the experimental 60s and 70s. It's made even more clear with her musical entourage, consisting of members from Baby Woodrose and The Good The Bad. But the prominent company doesn't change that fact that she's an incredibly talented girl.
So how does it sound? The electric guitars are ruthless, 60s crunched and acid dripping. The rhythm eggs shake their way as a freight train, the piano plays one-finger-progressions, while an electric organ and a manly aah-choir makes a solid ground for the singer's expressions. Because while the tightly playing band kicks ass, the charming and confident Emma Acs takes the spotlight with her summery melodies.
