Pete Cummins is singer songwriter from Ireland. In 1964 he bought first guitar, and in 1967 joined The Grass Band. They soon released the album "Honest Injun". In 1973 Pete became bass player with Donovan. Pete is a vegetarian and famously visited India to study meditation in Ashram in Prem Nagar, Hardwar. In 1979 Pete moved to Florida where he played with the band The Fleadh Cowboys. They released two albums "High Ace to Heaven" in 1989 and "Time of our Lives" in 1997. Petes song "In The Name of the Blues" featured in the film "In The Name Of The Father" and in 1992 dueted with Nanci Griffith on "From Clare to Here". More recently Pete has provided guitar and vocal with The Chieftains on "Putting on the Style" from the "Agnes Brown" soundtrack. Pete has toured widely with the Chieftans.
