BALCONYTV.COM 07/12/2006 PRESENTED BY JEMSON GREEN The hardest question that any band will ever be asked is "who do you sound like" and "who are your influences" Jemson green was formed originally 2 years ago as a cover band intent on playing old school rock and roll and enjoyed great success with this set up. The line up has never changed but the need to express has developed to a stage where it cannot be ignored. The life of the band began with lead guitarist Shay O'Connell and bass player brother Vinnie O'Connell. Drummer Shaun Costello soon followed and the joining of front man Ronan Power completed the line up that would soon be called Jemson Green. Having started writing in March of 2005 the band have developed a sound which is not usual in Dublin and Ireland and as a result has seen the lads gain recognition and high profile gigs have soon followed. The lads have managed to, successfully, blend old school rock with what has current today which results in a powerful riff based rock sound. With the fan base growing at the rate it is then now is the most exciting time to catch the band as the creative process is complete and in the words of getagig.ie " you won't regret seeing them live"
