Zum dritten Mal nun sind Acts der "We Call it Funk"-Reihe bei uns zu Gast: Mocambo. Zur Erinnerung, We Call It Funk ist eine Konzertreihe, die jeden vierten Freitag im Salon Hansen in Lüneburg und am Samstag in der Astra Stube in Hamburg stattfindet. Mocambo sind ne Menge Leute, ne Menge Instrumente, kein Gesang. Und wenn wir sie nicht im Video fragen, die ausgelutschte Frage, was der Name denn zu bedeuten hatten, hier in Schriftform: "In old Brazil, there were these stashs to hide from oppressing powers. The term "Mocambo" was originally used for secret places and housings as well as clandestine villages. In 1694...[hold on a second while we skip to the end]...and is nowadays a very popular name for hotels, cafés, bars, coffee, cigars & rum." Kaffee vor allem!
