PRESENTED BY LAYLA ANNA-LEE

In Will's own words;

'I play fingerstyle guitar on a Woodland Cedar twelve string made by Simon and Patrick Luthiers, occasionally using a Zoom pedal for altered effects. I am also a painter (see photos), making intricate anatomical works. Aside from the musicians listed, I'm currently working towards incorporating influences from other artists whose sound is very different - particularly Battles, Ghengis Tron, Kyuss, Boris and some ambient music such as Autechre or Four Tet - which will hopefully start coming through in the structure. As well as the music I listen to, books have a strong influence on my pieces, particularly with titles; Dostoevsky, Geoffrey Hill, European mythology, and Paul Celan's poetry have all been important; as have books like The Narrow Road To The Deep North (Basho), The Waves (Woolf), and My Name Is Red (Pamuk).
